Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite is approved by Anatel at the request of DL | Gadgets

O Mi Watch Lite hasn’t even been announced by Xiaomi officially, but has already gone through Anatel at the request of DL Electronics & Gadgets, the brand’s official representative in Brazil. We know that this smart watch features a 1.41-inch color screen, dedicated GPS and water resistance up to 50 meters deep.

The model name of the Mi Watch Lite is REDMIWT02. It was approved on Wednesday (28) at the request of DL Comércio e Indústria de Produtos Eletrônico. The agency documents clarify that the smartwatch does not come with a charger in the box.

At Anatel, there are several pictures of the watch from different angles. The Watch Lite has a square screen and removable strap; but unlike the original Mi Watch, this is not an Apple Watch clone.

Features of Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite

We know that REDMIWT02 will be sold as Mi Watch Lite because it was revealed on its approval in the USA by the FCC agency. In addition, there is an image summarizing its main features:

  • Built-in GPS, without depending on the cell phone;
  • various modes of exercise;
  • water resistant to 50 m and detection of strokes in swimming;
  • automatic brightness on the screen;
  • 1.41-inch color touchscreen;
  • 24-hour heart rate monitoring.

The smartwatch works with Android 4.4 or newer devices, or with iPhones and iPads running iOS 10 or higher. The battery is 230 mAh, but we still don’t know how many days it will last, as Xiaomi has not made the official announcement. Therefore, the price and the launch date are missing – but arrival in Brazil is guaranteed.
