Xiaomi scheduled for November 5 the launch of the Mi CC9 Pro, its new smartphone with a 108 megapixel camera. The company did not say whether it would be sold outside China, but an announcement indicates that the smartphone will have an international version with another name: Mi Note 10.
On Twitter, Xiaomi presented the Mi Note 10 as “the first in the world with a fivefold 108 MP camera”. The release date was not disclosed, but the trend is that it will be presented after the Mi CC9 Pro and follow the specifications of that model.
According to the 91Mobiles, the Mi CC9 Pro will have, in addition to the 108 MP camera, 13 MP + 8 MP and 2 MP sensors. The phone should feature a 32 MP front camera, 6.5 inch AMOLED screen, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
The Mi Note 10 should have practically the same specifications with a difference in the processor. Xiaomi will be able to launch it with Snapdragon 855 processor, while Mi CC9 Pro is expected to be offered in China with Snapdragon 730G.
The Mi Note 10 (or Mi CC9 Pro) will not be Xiaomi’s first phone with a 108 MP camera and Samsung’s Isocell Bright HMX sensor. Before them, the company launched the Mi Mix Alpha, sold for 19,999 yuan (about R $ 11,300).
In China, the Mi CC9 Pro is expected to have a more affordable price: 2,199 yuan (R $ 1,240). The Mi Note 10, in turn, should be slightly more expensive than the Chinese model due to the difference in the processor, but there are still no details on that.
