Xiaomi has confirmed which will be its new phone with 108 megapixel camera. This is the Mi CC9 Pro, which will feature five rear cameras. According to the announcement made by the manufacturer on the Chinese social network Weibo, the model will be launched on November 5.
The Mi CC9 Pro will display a vertical module with three lenses grouped, above two other lenses. Not yet information about all the cameras in the phone, but the main one, 108 MP, will use the Isocell Bright HMX sensor, from Samsung.
Remember that Xiaomi has been working on four smartphones with Samsung’s 108 MP sensor for some time. One of them, the Mi Mix Alpha, was launched at the end of September for an inexpensive price: 19,999 yuan (about R $ 11,300 at the current price).
Xiaomi’s announcement about the Mi CC9 Pro points out that the phone will be the company’s first to feature 5x optical zoom. It will also display on its rear two dual LED flash units.
In addition to what has already been revealed, rumors suggest that the phone will be launched with a 32 megapixel front camera. It should have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a digital player under the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will also feature a Snapdragon 730G processor, launched in April by Qualcomm, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The model is expected to have a 4,000 mAh battery, with support for 27W fast charging and 20W wireless charging.
Unlike the Mi Mix Alpha, the Mi CC9 Pro is expected to have a friendlier price and be launched in China for 2,199 yuan (about R $ 1,240). The mobile event will also serve for the launch of Xiaomi Watch and Xiaomi Mi TV 5.
