THE Xiaomi launched the wireless headphones some time ago Mi AirDots and Redmi AirDots with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, 4 hour battery charge, and design similar to the Samsung Gear IconX. They officially arrived in Brazil with new names: the Mi True Wireless Earbuds and Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic cost between R $ 192.27 and R $ 386.90 at DL Eletrônicos store.

The Redmi AirDots is called here Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic: it comes out Price: $ 208.99 or R $ 192.27 with 8% discount on the ticket. In turn, Mi AirDots – sorry, Mi True Wireless Earbuds – costs R $ 386.90 or R $ 355.95 in cash. Both models are on sale at the official Xiaomi online store and at the physical Mi Store of Shopping Ibirapuera in São Paulo.

The launch was announced by the official website of Xiaomi Brazil on Facebook. Mi AirDots went on sale in China a year ago for the equivalent of $ 29, while Redmi AirDots arrived in March this year for just $ 15.

What is the difference between Xiaomi Mi AirDots and Redmi AirDots?

Despite the difference in price, Mi AirDots and Redmi AirDots have several similarities. They are fully wireless in-ear headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 support; both models offer noise cancellation, integrated microphone and support for voice commands via Siri or Google Assistant.

There is a 43 mAh battery on each side that promises to last up to 4 hours on a charge, whether listening to music or making a call. The 300 mAh case provides three complete recharges, and receives power via microUSB. Both Mi AirDots and Redmi AirDots have the same dynamic 7.2 mm driver.

There are two differences main: Mi AirDots is white and controlled through a touch-sensitive surface. Meanwhile, the Redmi AirDots comes in black color and has a button to receive commands: press to pause the music, press twice to activate the virtual assistant, and hold to ignore a call.

Xiaomi has another wireless headset: it’s the AirDots Pro, whose design is more similar to that of Apple’s AirPods. It has not yet been released by DL, the manufacturer’s official representative in Brazil.
