O Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro it will be the global version of the Redmi K20 Pro: it is a mobile phone with a Snapdragon 855 processor, a retractable front camera, a digital reader under the screen, and a triple rear camera with 48 megapixels. It will be announced on August 20 in Europe, and could officially arrive in Brazil – DL Eletrônicos sells the “brother” Mi 9T in the country.
Xiaomi says on Facebook that “the Mi 9T Pro will be officially launched on August 20 for the Benelux market”, that is, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The Dutch operator Belsimpel already opened the pre-sale of the device, listing all its details.
At differences between the Mi 9T Pro and the Redmi K20 Pro are on Mi mark from the rear – instead of Redmi – and in 4G connectivity, with the addition of bands 2 (1,900 MHz) and 20 (800 MHz) used in Europe. The cell phone also accesses the frequencies of B3 (1,800 MHz) and B7 (2,600 MHz) of Brazilian LTE, but, according to the store, it is not compatible with the 700 MHz band.
Besides, it is practically everything the same, even the dimensions and the weight. The screen continues to use a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel with a built-in fingerprint reader. The processor is the Snapdragon 855, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of non-expandable storage.
One of the highlights is the retractable front camera 20 megapixel camera that allows 91.9% of the screen to be used – there is no notch here. At the rear is a triple rear camera with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor. And the 4,000 mAh battery supports QuickCharge 4.0+ fast charging.
This is a more powerful version of the Xiaomi Mi 9T, the global version of the Redmi K20 that replaces the processor with a Snapdragon 730; it costs R $ 3,499 in Brazil. There is still no information about a Mi 9T Pro launch in the country.
