THE Xiaomi will be holding an event next week to present the official details on the MIUI 11, with new features in the interface and a button to disable ads on Android. In addition, we will have cell phones Mi Mix 5G and Mi 9 Pro 5G with 30 W fast wireless charging; and the new Mi TV Pro.
One of the highlights at the September 24 event will be the Mi Mix 5G. According to the XDA Developers, this phone is codenamed “hercules”, Snapdragon 855 processor, digital reader built into the screen and triple rear camera. Rumors suggest that the main sensor is the Samsung Isocell Bright HMX with 108 megapixels.
We will also see the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G. The company confirmed that this will be the first smartphone with Mi Charge Turbo 30 W technology: with it, a 4,000 mAh battery takes 25 minutes to go from 0 to 50%.
MIUI brings new icons and service similar to AirDrop
Both devices must rotate MIUI 11, the new customized version of Android made by Xiaomi. Prints leaked by XDA Developers show that the system will come with a file sharing service similar to AppleAirDrop, created in partnership with Oppo and Vivo.
In addition, MIUI will have more colorful icons, thicker fonts and blanks for a cleaner look; there is a dark mode too. And it will be possible to disable all interface ads by tapping a single button in the settings.
Xiaomi will take advantage of the event to announce its new TVs: this is the Mi TV Pro in 55 and 65 inches, with thin edges and metal body. It will be sold alongside Redmi TV 70-inch, 4K and HDR; and will be a competitor for OnePlus TV with Android TV, which will be announced later this month. We will know all the details on September 24th.
