THE Xiaomi announced the Android 11 with MIUI 12 to Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro this Wednesday (9). According to the Chinese company, the update is now available for global versions of phones with advanced technical data. Other smartphones from the Asian manufacturer will receive the update in the future.
The new version of Android has been in testing on the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro for some time: in June, the Chinese company made a beta version of the operating system available to both smartphones and the Poco F2 Pro. Now, it is the phones’ turn to receive the update with the MIUI 12 interface first hand, shortly after the Google Pixel line.
“Meeting the expectations of users, Android 11 is now available in the global versions of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro so that developers and users have an early idea of its smart features,” said Xiaomi on Wednesday (9) in a publication available on its official blog.
In early April, Xiaomi released a list of phones that will receive Android 11. In addition to the other variants of the Mi 10 line, smartphones from the Mi Note 10, Mi 9, Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi K30, Black Shark families 3 and others will also be updated to the new version of Google’s operating system.
Android 11 reaches the final version
Google released the final version of Android 11 on Tuesday (8). The update will arrive on phones with the operating system with message balloons (Bubbles), a section dedicated to messaging apps in notifications, redesigned media controls, native screen recording, privacy improvements and more.
The operating system update is now available for Google Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a and its other variants with larger screen (XL).
