Ready for another game subscription? THE Ubisoft launched on Tuesday (3) the Uplay +, which offers more than 100 games like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, The Division 2 and Watch Dogs 2, in addition to all titles in the series assassins Creed, Far cry, Prince of Persia and Rayman. They can be played on Windows PCs and, in 2020, also through Google Stadia. The service costs US $ 14.99 a month, but it is not available in Brazil.
Uplay + offers the most premium version of each game, with DLCs and expansions – check out the full list here. In addition, subscribers will have access to titles such as Watch Dogs Legion and Gods & Monsters as soon as they are released. You can also enter early access programs, as is the case with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
It is necessary to use the Uplay client on Windows to install: just select the desired title and click on Add to library. “You will need an internet connection to start each game and to play it”, warns Ubisoft. And if you cancel your subscription, you will no longer have access to the Uplay + catalog.
Uplay + will have integration with Google Stadia in 2020
In 2020, the Uplay + subscription can be used within Google Stadia, a game streaming service. That is, you will have access to Ubisoft titles at no additional cost.
It is worth remembering that it will be necessary to pay for Stadia games: they will not be cheaper than on Xbox or PlayStation, and can only be accessed via streaming. Google will have a free “Base” plan limited to Full-HD resolution, and a “Pro” option paid for with 4K.
Ubisoft is offering September for free on Uplay + to customers in the US, Canada, Europe and elsewhere; learn more here. It will compete with other game subscription services, such as EA’s Origin Access and Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass.
Uplay + is not being sold in Brazil; it is also not possible to find it in the rest of Latin America, Japan, China, South Korea and other countries.
