O Twitter made scheduling tweets available on the web this Thursday (28th). With the tool, it will be possible to schedule the sending of a publication without depending on TweetDeck or other applications. The social network also released the function of saving posts as drafts on the site.

The update in the tweets composing tool expands the range of social network resources when sharing content. From now on, Twitter users will be able to schedule publications via the web version. The function was previously only available through TweetDeck or third-party applications.

Enabling the scheduling tool is automatic. To use it, simply create the tweet as normal and click on the icon with a calendar and clock together, next to the emoji selector. Then, it’s just the time of publication, confirm and press “Schedule” to send.

The feature is also integrated with TweetDeck. In tests carried out by the Tecnoblog, it was possible to view both the tweets scheduled on both platforms and to modify them from the content to the schedule time or to exclude them from the publication calendar.

Twitter even took drafts of tweets to the web version. The function, which was already available in the Android and iOS apps (iPhone and iPad), allows the user to complete a publication at another time, for example. The tool, however, is not integrated with applications for mobile phones and tablets.

Twitter news can now be used by all users of the social network.
