O Spotify launched on Monday (7) the Premium Duo, a new subscription modality with an intermediate price between Premium and Premium Familiar. It costs R $ 21.90 per month and allows you to share the offer with another person, paying less than two individual accounts.
O Premium Duo it was launched in 14 countries in Latin America in August and arrives in Brazil “for couples or couples who live in the same residential address”, according to the company. This is the same rule as the family plan, which can make periodic checks to check whether members still live in the same place.
A Premium Duo subscription offers two Premium accounts with personalized song recommendations. In addition, users have access to shared playlists; Duo Mix, an automatic playlist with the tastes of both; and Duo Hub, to manage members and account settings.
With the novelty, Spotify starts selling three plans in Brazil to the general public: Premium (one account) for R $ 16.90; Premium Duo (two accounts) for R $ 21.90; and Family Premium (six accounts) for R $ 26.90. University students have 50% discount. All modalities now have three months of tasting.
