THE Sony will reveal an important part of PlayStation 5: the game catalog that will be available for the new console. The company scheduled an event for next Thursday, June 4, at 5 pm (Brasília time). She showed what the DualSense controller will look like, but has yet to reveal the PS5’s design.
Sony may show PS5 design in June
“You’ll soon be able to discover the games that will be in your hands after the PlayStation 5 is released,” says Jim Ryan, president and CEO of Sony Interative Entertainment (SIE), in a statement. The event will be broadcast on YouTube and will take just over an hour.
Game companies have been scheduling online events throughout June with the aim of replacing E3, an annual conference that was canceled due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus, which caused COVID-19.
“All types of studios have worked hard to develop games that demonstrate the potential of the hardware,” says Ryan. The PS5 will have graphics power of 10.28 teraflops, 4K support at 120 Hz, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and 825 GB SSD storage to load games faster.
The CEO also promises that “after next week’s demo, there’s still so much more for you”. Will we finally see the PS5 design in June? Microsoft has confirmed what the Xbox Series X will look like last year.
