2019 is approaching the end, but it is only the beginning of the productions of Samsung for 2020. After launching infinite smartphones with infinite screens, the technical sheet of the Galaxy A91 was leaked by SamMobile, which confirmed some differences from the Galaxy A90 5G. Rumors that the same specifications will be present in the S10 Lite.
As said, the Galaxy A91 should be a cell phone for 2020, including the brand has even been registered for next year. One of the main differences from the A90 5G may be the absence of the 5G and the compatibility with the 45-watt fast charge for the 4,500 mAh battery.
The A91 should bring the Snapdragon 855, but without 5G technology enabled, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, with the possibility of expanding to up to 512 GB via microSD.
The 6.7-inch screen would have the same format as the standard already known, with the notch Infinity-U display and Full-HD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels).
The set of three rear cameras is almost the same as the A90 5G, except for the ultrawide lens, which jumps from 8 MP to 12 MP. The main sensor remains with 48 MP and optical image stabilization; the third lens is for depth and continues at 5 MP. The front camera is also the same as 32 MP, but with an aperture of f / 2.2 instead of f / 2.0 of the A90 5G.
S10 Lite, but what about the Galaxy S10e?
We already thought that the Galaxy S10e would be the entry-level model for the S10 line, but SamMobile bet on a new model that should fit even further down the Galaxy S line: the S10 Lite.
If the sources are correct and the specifications are the same as the A91, the S10 Lite will come out ahead in some components, when compared to the S10e: more RAM, higher resolution and screen size and more battery.
|Galaxy S10 Lite||Galaxy S10e|
|8GB RAM||6 GB of RAM|
|6.7 inch screen with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution||5.8 inch screen with 2280 x 1080 pixel resolution|
|4,500 mAh battery||3,100 mAh battery|
I just don’t put my hand on fire when it comes to cameras: the S10 Lite can also have an extra camera at the rear (the 5 MP depth sensor) and sensors with higher resolution on the main and front lens, however it doesn’t mean that the quality of the photos on the S10 Lite will be better than those on the S10e, unless Samsung takes the older brothers’ post-processing to it too.
This significant increase in the megapixels of the cameras, especially in the front, alerts me that the S10 Lite could be something for the A line instead of the S (actually it is the same thing as the A91, inside another body). In fact, I see no sense in having, for example, more resolution than the Galaxy S10 + itself, which brings only 10 MP on the front.
