THE Samsung performed the Unpacked 2020 in early August to officially unveil the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. The event also served as a stage for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Despite this, the company announced one Unpacked Part 2 to give more details about the folding. The presentation will be online and is scheduled for September 1st.
It is curious that Samsung dedicate an entire event just to detail a model, even more so if we take into account that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 technical sheet is already known.
But, as the Mashable, the date of Unpacked Part 2 coincides with the IFA Berlin 2020 week. The event will be quite limited this year because of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and Samsung has already made it clear that it will not participate in the edition.
Perhaps the company’s original plans included making more detailed demos about the Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the IFA, but given the current circumstances, the alternative may have been to leave the presentation for a dedicated event.
It is worth remembering that the new foldable will bring a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED main screen, a 6.2-inch external display (also Dynamic AMOLED), an octa-core Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, in addition to 4,500 mAh battery with quick recharge and wire charging.
Regarding the cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature three 12-megapixel sensors at the rear, but one will bring a wide-angle lens while the other will allow up to 30x hybrid zoom. Inside, the smartphone will house two 10 megapixel cameras.
