THE Samsung must not present the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 in August 2020: the launch of the successor of the Galaxy Fold should be after the Galaxy Note 20. The expectation is that the first public appearance of the next generation of Samsung’s folding cell phone will happen only in September.
The rumor raised by Max Weinbach, from XDA-Developers, this Saturday (11) gives a new air to the bets for the virtual event Galaxy Unpacked 2020, scheduled for August 5th. On Twitter, Weinbach explains that the phone is not yet ready to be announced by Samsung next month.
“This is absolutely no surprise. The software is nowhere near ready for a September release and there is little mention of the phone’s hardware. It is likely that it has been postponed for a long time and that is why ”, he says.
Instead of August, Samsung should only demonstrate the smartphone in September, possibly during a digital event marked by the South Korean brand for this month. The launch of the foldable cell phone, according to Weinbach’s publications on Twitter, should only occur in October or in the following months.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the possible successor to the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The phone is expected to reach the consumer with larger screens, an internal display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an ultra-thin glass layer (Ultra Thin Glass), quad camera and advanced technical file, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
There is no forecast date and price for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Brazil.
