Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G appears in leaked video | Cell phone

Images of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G went public before it was even released. According to a video from the cell phone released by Evan Blass on Friday (10) on his Twitter account, the next smartphone in flip format and with foldable screen from Samsung will be presented with few visual changes.

The 5G edition of the smartphone will not have many visual novelties, according to the video. The screen on the outside to show notifications and the hole for housing the selfies camera on the inside display remain, as well as the phone launched in Brazil in March. The phone will also keep the dual camera system outside.

The main difference in design would be the new color option: bronze. Still according to Max Weinbach, from XDA-Developers, also on Friday (10), the technical data sheet of the new smartphone should have Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor instead of the Galaxy Z Flip Snapdragon 855+.

Announced this Wednesday (8), the Snapdragon 865 Plus is a Qualcomm processor for the gamer audience that brings the 3.1 GHz Kryo 585 Prime core and has the Adreno 650 graphics chip. The component still has the modem Qualcomm Snapdragon X55, capable of connecting to 5G networks with download speeds of up to 7.5 Gbps.

The rest of the details and specifications are expected to remain unchanged on Samsung’s next foldable phone. The expectation is that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be announced during Galaxy Unpacked 2020, on August 5, 2020, a virtual event confirmed by Samsung on Wednesday (8).
