Launched in the beginning of the month in Brazil, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 draws attention for being elegant and focused on health – the device even measures blood pressure. But, for the Brazilian market, Samsung is keen to highlight one more detail: the company announced on Monday (21) that the watch will become part of the list of devices produced at its factory in Manaus (AM).
The announcement is the continuation of a movement that began in July this year. That month, Samsung announced the production of the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active 2 smartwatches nationwide, as well as the Galaxy Fit E bracelet.
“This decision to produce the Galaxy Watch 3 in Brazil shows once again the strength of Samsung’s commitment to the country. It has been operating for more than three decades in this very important market. We want to bring to Brazilians the best that Samsung has in technology and innovation, helping to create opportunities and generate development ”, explains Antonio Quintas, vice president of mobile devices at Samsung Brazil.
The Samsung factory in Manaus also produces smartphones, notebooks, tablets, televisions and white goods. The company also has a manufacturing unit in Campinas (SP) that assembles the brand’s main products, except TVs.
In Brazil, the Galaxy Watch 3 line has official prices of R $ 2,799 for the 41 mm version and R $ 2,999 for the 45 mm model.
