O Redmi Note 8 Pro should only be officially announced at the end of August, but the Xiaomi has been trying to anticipate some details of the device to feed expectations. We already know, for example, that it will have four cameras at the rear – one of them must have 64 megapixel sensor.
In fact, the images released so far show a set of four circles at the rear. However, only the first three houses the cameras. The latter seems to correspond to the fingerprint reader and, therefore, the fourth sensor was placed on the side, just below the LED flash.
It is a strange arrangement, but it should not harm the registration of images. In fact, expectations about the cameras are high because of the rumors about the main one having a 64 megapixel sensor – probably, this is Samsung’s Isocell Bright GW1.
The rest of the cameras must have 8 megapixels (wide angle), 5 megapixels (depth) and 2 megapixels (macro; apparently, the camera that was placed on the right), but these characteristics have not been confirmed.
Another feature that has been drawing attention is the processor. Recently, MediaTek revealed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be equipped with the Helio G90T, an octa-core chip aimed at the gamer segment.
Perhaps this statement is somewhat appealing. Anyway, the Helio G90T has really interesting specifications: the processor has two ARM Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.05 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz, in addition to the Mali-G76 GPU.
It is no coincidence that, recently, Xiaomi released an image that indicates that the smartphone will feature a liquid cooling system.
Another expected feature is that the model has a 4,500 mAh battery with fast recharge (18 W). Screen size, storage capacity and amount of RAM are among the details still unknown.
Like the Redmi Note 8, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is expected to be officially announced on August 29 in China.
