The Chinese Oppo announced its newest flagship smartphone: the Reno Ace has a greater appeal to the gamer audience and draws attention to the 65 watt charger, which can charge the 4,000 mAh battery in just half an hour. The phone has a quad camera at the rear, Snapdragon 855 Plus, up to 12 GB of RAM and a 90 Hz screen, in addition to a special commemorative version of Gundam.
The full recharge in 30 minutes is superior to most smartphones with fast charge, which promise 50% battery in half an hour. For moments when it is not possible to wait all this time, Oppo promises that five minutes in the socket guarantee two hours of smartphone use (!).
The plug adapter is not much larger than normal thanks to GaN (gallium nitride), a more efficient material than silicon. In addition to the Oppo fast charge standard, the Reno Ace is also compatible with USB-PD (which became mandatory for Androids with USB-C) and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Oppo Reno Ace has a quad camera and up to 12 GB of RAM
Like any flagship, the Reno Ace comes with specifications that impress. The device has a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 aspect, notch in drop format and built-in digital sensor. The chip is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, with versions of 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and UFS 2.0 storage of 128 GB or 256 GB.
At the rear, we found four cameras. The main one has the Sony IMX586 sensor with 48 megapixels and aperture f / 1.7. Ultrawide captures a 118º angle and has an 8 megapixel sensor, while the telephoto lens has 13 megapixels (the focal length has not been disclosed). There is also a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
The phone still offers a lot of optimizations for gamers, including a touch sensor with 135 Hz refresh rate for greater accuracy, as well as a “4D” vibration engine that brings better tactile feedback. To avoid overheating in gambling, there is a layer of carbon fiber between the processor and the heat conduction chamber.
The Oppo Reno Ace goes on sale in China from October 17, in black and blue. The version of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs 2,999 yuan (equivalent to R $ 1,780); the model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 3,799 yuan (R $ 2,200).
There is also a special version of Gundam, with 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM, for 3,599 yuan (about R $ 2,060). The Japanese sci-fi animation franchise is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the premiere of the first episode on TV.
