The launch of the OnePlus 8T may be near, according to information from Android Central. The smartphone should feature the most advanced Qualcomm processor and AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as the OnePlus 8 Pro.
The difference in the panel would be due to the size: while the “Pro” version has a 6.78 ”display, the OnePlus 8T would have a 6.55 inch screen – like the conventional version. The design is unlikely to change much from the models launched in April.
The rear camera set should have four lenses: the main one with a 48 MP sensor (not 64 MP, as expected); an ultra-wide (16 MP); a macro (5 MP) and a 2 MP sensor for portrait mode.
Performance would be guaranteed by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+ processor, together with 8 GB RAM. Storage should be 128 GB.
Other rumors report support for 65 W fast charging – not mentioned by recent leaks. This specification, therefore, is more uncertain.
The OnePlus 8T should come standard with OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 – the new version of the system should be officially made available by Google soon.
The launch of the OnePlus 8T is expected in the coming weeks – between the end of September and the beginning of October. So far, there is no information about the arrival of a “Pro” model.
