The information came from Roland Quandt, a journalist with a long history of leaks on smartphones. The images he released on Twitter show that the Motorola One Zoom will be available in at least two colors: black and purple.

In addition, the images indicate that the device will work with the Alexa assistant (at least in Europe), will have a drop-shaped notch screen and will even come with a four camera configuration at the rear, the main one with 48 megapixels.

As with previously leaked images, the new ones bear the words “Dual OIS”, which indicates that the device will have optical image stabilization.

Due to the set of cameras, it was initially expected that the Motorola One Zoom would come with cutting-edge hardware, but Quandt reinforces that the technical file will really be that of a premium intermediate smartphone.

The configurations should include a 6.2-inch full HD + screen (2340 × 1080 pixels), Snapdragon 675 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable (UFS) storage with microSD. There may be variations with different amounts of RAM and storage.

The Motorola One Zoom is also expected to come with a 4,000 mAh battery, 16 megapixel front camera and NFC. The images show that the device will have a USB-C port and a connection for headphones. Apparently, the Motorola logo on the back lights up.

Although the name suggests otherwise, Motorola One Zoom should not be part of Android One, Google’s program that, among other features, guarantees system updates for two years.

Or maybe it does, but in a different way: the first rumors indicated that the device’s name would be Motorola One Pro; there is then the possibility that this denomination may be maintained in some markets to indicate a variation that brings Android One.

Anyway, soon we will find out what Motorola’s plans are: Roland Quandt says that the Motorola One Zoom should be announced at the IFA 2019 fair, scheduled for the beginning of September, with a price of around € 400.
