Scheduled for the second week of September, the IFA 2019 can serve as a stage for the official arrival of the MotorolaOne Zoom. Meanwhile, images and details about the device continue to “leak”. The latest reinforces that the phone will have a 48 megapixel camera and will be available in at least three colors.
The recently released images indicate that the cameras will really be the main appeal of the Motorola One Zoom. The main sensor, 48 megapixels, should be accompanied by a 12 megapixel camera with 117 degree lens, another 5 megapixel camera for depth (photos with blurred background) and another one, 8 megapixel camera, for zooming up to 5x.
The zoom camera is likely to be hybrid. Her real zoom should be 2x or 3x, but reach 5x with the combination of information from other cameras.
It is also said that, just like the Motorola One Vision, the One Zoom will combine four pixels into one to improve the perception of brightness and colors in the photos – which should make the images up to 12 megapixels – and will have a kind of mode night to allow good quality records in low light environments.
Still with respect to the cameras, some of the images released so far show the words “Dual OIS” next to the sensors, which indicates that the Motorola One Zoom will have optical image stabilization.
Other specifications should include Super AMOLED screen with full HD + resolution (2340 × 1080 pixels) and 6.2 inches in size, Snapdragon 675 processor, 4 GB of RAM, NFC, 128 GB of expandable storage (UFS) with microSD and 4,000 battery mAh, as previous rumors pointed out.
Unlike the Motorola One Action and One Vision, which feature circular notch aligned to the left of the screen, the One Zoom will have a drop-shaped central notch, according to the leaked images – there will probably be a 16 megapixel camera.
We can also expect that the cell phone will be available in three “sober” colors: black, purple and somewhere between gold and copper.
The wealth of details in the leaks makes us think that, if not all, the Motorola One Zoom will feature most of these features. The question is whether the device will be launched with that name or, as the first rumors pointed out, as Motorola One Pro.
A strong possibility is that the model will receive both denominations. Like Motorola One Pro, the smartphone would be launched as part of Android One, a program that guarantees system updates for two years.
Like Motorola One Zoom, the device would be launched without Android One, but with integration with Alexa assistant, at least in some European countries.
There, the Motorola One Zoom (or One Pro) should cost around € 400.
