There are still a few months left for 2020 to end, Motorola there’s still time to launch new phones. Approval documents in the USA, Europe and Japan reveal a cell phone with model number XT2091 and a 6,000 mAh battery. The manufacturer does not confirm, but this must be the Moto G9 Power, and it is already mentioned by Anatel’s certification system for future launch in Brazil.
Possible Moto G9 Power has 20W fast recharge
The FCC documents, American equivalent to Anatel, show that the Motorola XT2091 has a 6,000 mAh battery (model number MC50), 20 W fast charging, triple camera with flash and digital reader at the rear.
According to the FCC, this phone will come in two model numbers: the XT2091-3 will have the Motorola brand, while the XT2091-8 will debut as a Lenovo smartphone. This happened recently with the Moto G9 Play, which adopted the K12 Note brand in some markets.
This raises the suspicion that the XT2091 would also be part of the Moto G9 family, which already has the Plus and Play models. Due to the capacity of the battery, this could be the Power variant.
The XT2091 was also spotted at Japan’s TÜV Rheinland and the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), which includes Russia and other countries in the region. In both cases, the device has a capacity of 6,000 mAh and a charge of 20 W.
Anatel’s approval system mentions the XT2091-4 in the autocomplete feature. This means that this Motorola phone is undergoing review but has not yet been approved; it should be released for sale in Brazil soon.
