O Tecnoblog he said exclusively that Motorola should launch the Moto E6 Play, Moto G8 Play and Moto G8 Plus at an event to be held in São Paulo on October 24th. Now the WinFuture reveals the specifications of the Moto G8 Plus, including the triple camera with 48 megapixel main sensor and the 4,000 mAh battery. This cell phone has already been approved by Anatel.
Roland Quandt, from WinFuture, says the Moto G8 Plus (XT2019) has a 6.3-inch IPS screen with Full-HD + resolution (2280 x 1080). There is a notch on the top for the 25-megapixel front camera, and a chin on the bottom without the Motorola logo (hallelujah).
Inside, we will have the Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of microSD expandable storage. The battery will be 4,000 mAh, just as we said; it can be charged via the USB-C port with the Turbo Power adapter.
Moto G8 Plus will have triple camera and Action Cam
The highlight is the triple camera. The main sensor of 48 megapixels allows to capture more light in low light situations. In addition, we will have a 16 megapixel sensor with ultrawide lens and 117 degree field of view – it will be an “Action Cam” just like the Motorola One Action. There will also be a 5 MP sensor for depth effects.
From the disclosure images, the Moto G8 Plus seems to have a quad camera, but this is not the case: as explained by WinFuture, one of the four holes in the rear corresponds to the laser autofocus system.
They will be 9.1 mm thick and 188 g. The device has a fingerprint reader on the back and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Speaking of connectivity, we will have Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, support for two cell chips, 4GLTE Cat.13, and NFC (depending on the region).
The Moto G8 Plus should be released in blue and red colors running the Android 9 Pie operating system. It will be presented at an event in São Paulo on October 24th.
Moto G8 Plus was approved by Anatel
