Rumors say the Motorola plans to launch a Moto G8 Plus with triple rear camera, 48 megapixel main sensor, Snapdragon 665 processor and 4,000 mAh battery. This cell phone – and its battery – already appear in Anatel’s approval system.
An anonymous source tells the XDA Developers that Motorola is prototyping a new phone with triple rear camera, and it could be the Moto G8 Plus. The main camera would have a f / 1.79 aperture, 48 megapixel sensor and pixel binning to combine 4 pixels into 1, capturing more light and generating 12 MP images.
In addition, there would be a 16-megapixel f / 2.2 wide-angle camera with a 94-degree viewing angle; and a 5 MP sensor to detect depth and blur the background. Meanwhile, the front camera would be 25 MP f / 2.0.
The Moto G8 Plus would come with lighting effects in portrait mode and Night Vision night mode, present in Motorola One Vision and Moto Z4.
Moto G8 Plus at Anatel with 4,000 mAh battery
The source of XDA Developers says that depending on the country, the Moto G8 Plus has model name XT2019-1 or XT2019-2. In early August, Cesar Cardoso do Mobile Penguins found that Anatel’s approval system already mentions XT2019-2:
As this device has not yet been approved, Anatel does not disclose any details about it. We know, however, that drums from XT2019-2 already certified by the Brazilian agency: it has the model name KD40 and a capacity of 4,000 mAh.
The processor of this smartphone would be the Snapdragon 665, also used in Redmi Note 8 and Xiaomi Mi A3. For comparison, the Moto G7 has the Snapdragon 632, while the Moto G7 Plus features the Snapdragon 636.
It is believed that the device will have four versions of RAM and storage: 4 + 64 GB, 4 + 128 GB, 6 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB. The storage technology would be UFS 2.1, faster than the eMMC used in many intermediate smartphones.
THE screen must be 6.3 inches, Full-HD + resolution (2280 × 1080) and 19: 9 aspect ratio. The device would come with a digital reader at the rear, and would be available in red and blue.
We still don’t know when the Moto G8 Plus will be released; O XDA Developers points out that it could be released only as Moto G8. It is worth noting that the site provided several details about the Motorola One Vision, Moto G7 Power and Moto E6.
