The service currently has games like Doom, Gears of War 4, Mortal Kombat X and Fallout 4. In all, Microsoft has an agreement with 75 producers. Among them are Bethesda, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive and SEGA.

The company also informs that PC players will have access to Xbox Game Studios games on launch day. “We will ensure that the library remains curated and filled with great PC titles in several genres, with new games added each month,” said Spencer.

Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers will also be able to receive discounts on the Microsoft Store for items that are not available on the service. Some games will be 20% cheaper, while DLCs and other extensions may have a price reduction of up to 10%.

Microsoft will bring games to Steam

In the same announcement, Spencer said that Microsoft will take Xbox Game Studios titles to other gaming platforms. According to the company, Steam will soon receive titles such as Gears 5 and Age of Empires I, II & III.

The executive stated that the change in distribution aims to support the choice of players and allow them to buy on any platform. “We know that millions of PC gamers trust Steam as an excellent source for purchasing PC games and we hear the feedback that gamers would like to choose from,” said Spencer.
