Nintendo announced today (27) a new date for the launch of Mario Kart Tour, version of the classic console racing game from the Japanese company, which will run on Android smartphones and the iPhone. The current forecast is to deliver the title to players on September 25 this year, six months after the initial promise.
The game was announced in February this year, when Nintendo set the release date sometime between April and March 2019. The period passed and the company said it needed more time, which seems to have been well spent. Now the new date is set for next month and the trailer that was released next to the launch day is very promising.
Another novelty is that the Mario Kart Tour is already pre-registered at Play Store for Androids and on App Store on iPhones, even for Brazil – since Dr. Mario World has already been released in the United States and nothing to get here. In the description of the store, Nintendo says that the game will bring clues from real cities and also some clues from the franchise.
Gameplay will be done with just one finger, with the kart riding alone and in a style that can be similar to that of Asphalt 9. Finally, the game will be free to test, but there is still no information on the value of the full title. In Super Mario Run, which works in the same way, the first world can be played almost entirely and free of charge, with R $ 37.90 in a single purchase that releases all other phases.
