iPhones 12 Pro have 6 GB of RAM, while iPhone 12 remains at 4 GB | Cell phone

THE Apple yesterday (13) presented the new iPhones 12 and, as usual, the company never reveals a lot of battery and RAM details. However, Xcode 12.1 beta files show that iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max have 6 GB of RAM, while iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini remain at 4 GB. This information was shared by the MacRumors this Wednesday (14).

In addition to a new processor, the A14 Bionic, the new high-end iPhones (12 Pro and 12 Pro Max) can perform even better. Also note that Apple has not made changes to the “more affordable” versions. Both the iPhone 12 and its Mini version remain the 4 GB found in last year’s models: iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

In May of this year, when rumors of the devices circulated, the foreign press already informed that the models could arrive with 2 GB more in RAM. In addition, modifications to the internal memory were also on the radar. Now, the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini will be sold in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB versions. The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will be found in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.

These 6 GB of RAM can also explain why Apple introduced exclusive features in Pro models that allow professional work with the phone. Here, in particular, it is worth mentioning the iPhone 12 Pro with the Apple ProRAW, which should win over many audiovisual professionals.

Remember that they shoot in 4K HDR in Dolby Vision (12 and 12 Mini in 4K at 30 fps, and 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max in 4K at 60 fps).

The tests are preliminary, but we can wait for new information as soon as the devices are tested.

IPhones 12 arrive in stores with 5G technology, new color options, OLED screen with reinforcement, LiDAR scanner, among other news. At the same event, the company announced the HomePod Mini. There are still no details of availability for the Brazilian market.
