THE Huawei launched on Friday (1st) the Huawei Band 3, a sports bracelet with a heart rate reader, AMOLED screen, 12-day battery and physical activity monitoring. The smartband has a suggested price of R $ 399 in the Brazilian market and is the second wearable device of the manufacturer in the country, after the Huawei Watch GT.
We have already tested the Huawei Band 3, which offers the basics for physical exercise. The 0.95-inch (240 × 120 pixels) AMOLED screen is touch sensitive and has good viewing in sunlight; heart rate monitoring can be on 24 hours a day; and sleep quality data is recorded in the Huawei Health app, available for Android and iOS.
This model does not have integrated GPS – the feature is restricted to the Huawei Band 3 Pro, which was not launched in Brazil. For outdoor activities, such as running and walking, the smartband can use the cell phone’s GPS to record the route. It is also possible to monitor swimming exercises, the bracelet being water resistant at depths of up to 50 meters.
Huawei Band 3 is now available in Magazine Luiza and B2W stores (Submarino, Americanas and Shoptime), in addition to Huawei kiosks in shopping centers in São Paulo (Morumbi and Eldorado), Campinas (Dom Pedro), Rio de Janeiro ( BarraShopping) and Brasília (ParkShopping).
