Huawei announces EMUI 10 with Android Q for P30 Pro and 22 other gadgets – Apps & Software

Huawei announced today (9) version 10 of EMUI, an interface it uses above Google’s mobile operating system and which is based on Android Q. The Chinese manufacturer confirmed that at least 23 devices will receive the novelty, including the P30 Lite and P30 Pro, which were recently launched in Brazil.

The main focus of this version of EMUI is to talk to different devices, delivering some features to be controlled by a computer, TVs, drones and even cars. This means that calls that arrive on a smartphone with this operating system can be answered by the TV or that the cell phone screen can be controlled by the PC.

Huawei did not disclose what are the most subtle changes, but some features that drew attention in Android Q are guaranteed in EMUI 10, as is the case with night mode in the entire operating system – which, in a way, already works in EMUI 9 that is available to users.

Unlike interfaces created by companies like Samsung, LG and Sony Mobile, EMUI follows typical Chinese device standards and profoundly modifies the Android that runs below it. Despite so much development work, Huawei promised that in September a beta version of EMUI 10 will be available.

The list of models compatible with this version of the system modified by Huawei has the names:

  • P30 Pro
