Google announced on Thursday (21) that Gmail will also support dynamic emails on Android and iOS. The solution, which was released in the web version in June, brings AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) to messages in your inbox.
The idea is to make the emails, in addition to loading faster, offer more interactivity. For example, you can save an event to your calendar, fill out a questionnaire, or check products from a store without leaving Gmail.
And, because they are dynamic, emails can change content according to the moment they are opened. This is useful in cases such as stores that want to report order status and companies that wish to submit job vacancies that have not yet been filled.
In announcement on your blog, Google demonstrated the example of a store that reminds the user of products left in the cart. With dynamic email, you can select different photos of the item and expand to read more information about it in the Gmail app.
When presenting dynamic e-mails for the web version, Google informed that companies like Booking, Decolar, Pinterest and the hotel service OYO Rooms were some of those that would adopt the solution in messages for their users.
The company says the feature will come to Gmail on Android and iOS in the coming weeks, when it will be enabled by default. In addition to the web version of the service, the solution is also available for G Suite users.
