Pixelbook Go is one of the computers with the most information leaked before its launch and today (11) we have even more photos and a video – full of details. The computer is still in the prototype stage, but the 9to5Google ensures that the model they received has a 13.3 inch screen and that it can even have an Intel Core i7 as a processor.
Another week, another leak of information about the Pixelbook Go, the next Chromebook that Google itself should launch next week. This time a pinkish version appeared in the hands of the 9to5Google and it is still in the prototype stage, with a Chrome OS still limited and that does not even allow the user to login with the Google account.
Outside it is minimalist, but at the bottom Google apparently chose a wavy texture that resembles something rubbery. In the hands-on video, you can see that the color of the support is more intense and it appears to be rubberized – which makes sense, since there are no rubber feet to leave the Pixelbook Go fixed on the table.
A detail that draws attention (another, since the base draws a lot) is that the speakers are on the sides of the keyboard, in a look that resembles some Macbook models. The trackpad is also generous and this also resembles apple branded computers.
Inside, the model that appears in the video has an Intel Core M3 processor and 8 GB of RAM, but the vehicle claims that this is the simplest of them and the settings can go up a lot. They range from Core M3, i5 or i7 processors, 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM. There will be options of 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of internal space. The screen is 13.3 inches in Fuul HD resolution, but it can be 4K and the Pixelbook Go will only have two USB-C ports, but it will keep the headphone connector.
Google has an event scheduled for the 15th of this month and rumors point to the launch of Pixelbook Go on this day, along with a new generation for the company’s own smart speakers, new Pixel smartphones and a lot of something that can be surprised – since, right, we know almost everything.
