Google Hire will end three years after its launch | Internet

Google Cemetery, a site that brings together products discontinued by Google, will get an update soon. This is because the company will close Hire, a recruitment platform for human resources teams.

Google Hire

Launched in 2017 to simplify the hiring process for small and medium-sized businesses, the service will be discontinued on September 1, 2020. This is what an email sent to Google Hire users informs.

“Although Hire was successful, we are focusing our resources on other products in the Google Cloud portfolio,” says the company. “We are deeply grateful to our customers, as well as to the defenders who came together and supported us along the way.”

While still on the air, Hire can help companies’ HR department. The platform integrates search, Gmail, Calendar and Docs features, which are used to search for professionals, schedule interviews and send other messages.

Until the announcement about its closure, the service cost companies $ 200 to $ 400 a month, varying according to the number of G Suite licenses. With the decision, Google announced that it will no longer charge for the use of the platform.
