Samsung once again opened the pre-registration for the sale of the Galaxy Fold in the United States and also in the United Kingdom. Announced with the Galaxy S10, earlier this year, Fold is the first smartphone with a foldable screen by the Korean brand and should be delivered to buyers starting this month.
Along with the new registration period for those interested in purchasing the device, the @evleaks account states that the official launch of the Galaxy Fold is scheduled for September 27 this year. This type of registration is different from the pre-sale that usually happens in Brazil, since it involves only interest and not the purchase itself.
This new launch comes after five months of delay, thanks to the structural problems that were encountered by those who received the device for testing. These problems include space on the hinge that allows dirt to enter below the screen, marks visible on the screen after a few uses and even a film, which apparently should not be removed, but which when it ends up permanently damaging the product.
Samsung promises to have solved all the flaws found, something expected for a smartphone that costs almost $ 2,000, or approximately R $ 8,400 – without considering taxes or conversion fees.
For that price and innovation, it needs to be perfect.
