Banco24Horas announced a solution for customers who made withdrawals from their ATMs without using a card or biometrics. It allows you to release values by cell phone with the help of the bank application in which the person has an account.
Called Digital Withdrawal, the option should also help those who do not have a bank account. By the end of the year, bank customers will be able to send money to another person to withdraw from any of the network’s 23,000 ATMs.
For now, the release of withdrawals by cell phone is only available for SafraWallet, a kind of Banco Safra digital wallet. Banco24Horas states that the Digital Withdrawal should be implemented soon by more partner banks.
The release of withdrawals by cell phone is made by choosing the option “Digital withdrawal” in the bank’s application. Then, to withdraw the money, just go to an ATM, select the same option and read the QR Code through the application.
“Saque Digital will facilitate the withdrawal of money and pave the way for new features that provide even more access for the population to the services offered at ATMs”, says Tiago Aguiar, head of new platforms at TecBan, controller of Banco24 Horas.
By allowing withdrawals even for unbanked people, the solution should help bring more customers to Banco24Horas, which, in 2018, carried out about 2 billion transactions for 135 million Brazilians.
