Apple TV + was launched a week ago and already has good news for users who liked the first original series. The service will renew four of them for the second season: See, For All Mankind, Dickinson and The Morning Show.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the first three months had already had the green light from Apple to receive the second season. The same goes for The Morning Show which is already in the recording phase of the new episodes.
Apple does not say how many people already use Apple TV +, nor how many views the series has seen. However, sources from Variety say that millions of users of the service have already spent an average of one hour on the platform since its launch on November 1.
The company would have been impressed by the volume of service activity. According to people close to the company, the majority of users who saw an episode of the series already available ended up seeing at least one or two more.
Because of the numbers so far, Apple understood that users responded well to the productions and decided to renew them. It is not yet clear, however, when the new episodes will debut on the streaming service.
The series had different strategies when they were launched. In case of See, For All Mankind and The Morning Show, the first three episodes premiered on the day the platform was launched and the rest will arrive every Friday. Already Dickinson had its ten episodes released at once.
In Brazil, Apple TV + was launched for R $ 9.90 per month or R $ 99.90 per year. The service also offers, for a limited time, a free year for those who purchased a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch after September 10.
