The launch of new iPhones continues to drive queues at Apple Stores around the world: the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max sold out quickly in pre-order, leaving some people looking for these models in a physical store on Friday (20). There are also those who want to participate in the event itself, with media coverage and applause from employees.
“I’m here for the experience,” he told CNET a 17-year-old boy named Jack; he attended the iPhone 11 launch in Sydney, Australia. “All the news teams are here, everyone is here, it’s an environment that you don’t see in any other cell phone launch.”
The Sydney launch had 100 people in line. Muhannad Al Nadaf, 21, was the first to buy one of the new iPhones (the 11 Pro Max in space gray). He waited standing up at 3 am; the store opens at 8am. It is his sixth attempt to be first in line.

Apple allows you to buy your iPhone over the internet or make a reservation for pickup at the store. However, the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max purchased today will not be shipped until October; so, some risk visiting the Apple Store to get the device soon.
iPhone 11 starts at $ 649; Pro Max reaches $ 1,449
The iPhone 11 is the successor to the iPhone XR: it has a dual camera with a 12 megapixel main sensor and an ultrawide lens sensor; as well as a night mode that captures more details in low light. The screen keeps the 6.1-inch LCD panel and Face ID in the notch.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have a triple camera, a larger battery than its predecessors (XS and XS Max) with an 18 W adapter in the box and “the toughest glass in a smartphone”. The OLED screen was named Super Retina XDR to highlight the enhanced dynamic range.
The Apple Watch Series 5 also hit stores today. Its always-on screen can display the display all the time; internal storage is now 32 GB (formerly 16 GB); and there is a compass for the owner not to get lost. The smart watch is available in four materials: recycled aluminum, titanium, ceramic and stainless steel.
The iPhone 11 costs between $ 699 and $ 849 in the United States. The iPhone 11 Pro ranges from $ 999 to $ 1,349; while the Pro Max ranges from $ 1,099 to $ 1,449. The Apple Watch Series 5, in turn, starts at $ 399.
There is still no forecast for launch in Brazil, but the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and Pro Max have already been approved by Anatel; while the Apple Watch Series 5 is already certified by the agency.
