THE Apple launched on Monday (28) the iOS 13.2 for iPhone, iPadOS 13.2 for iPad and tvOS 13.2 for Apple TV: the update makes these devices compatible with the new AirPods Pro headphones. IOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 bring the emojis Unicode 12.0: it is possible to form couples by combining two individuals with any skin tone; and there are symbols to represent accessibility objects, such as a wheelchair, a cane for the blind and a guide dog.

We also have new objects (gourd of chimarrão, yo-yo, dressing, chair) and animals (orangutans, sloths, skunks). THE Emojipedia brought together the main new emojis in the image below:

The update also includes privacy at Siri: the system will ask if you want to share audio recordings with Apple to improve the quality of the voice assistant. This can be controlled by following the path Settings> Privacy> Analysis and Improvements.

A few months ago, it was discovered that the company hired outsourced labor to analyze recorded sounds from Siri; she interrupted the practice and now asks the user for permission, sharing the audios only between internal employees.

Anyone with AirPods or Beats headphones can access a feature called Announce Messages with Siri, allowing the assistant to read messages aloud as they arrive on the iPhone or iPad.

iOS 13.2 brings Deep Fusion to iPhone 11, 11 Pro and Pro Max

And for those who own an iPhone 11, 11 Pro or Pro Max, iOS 13.2 activates the Deep Fusion. The device captures nine images and analyzes them all to join them in a single photo, promising better dynamic range and greater level of details. Only on these models, it is also possible to change the resolution and frame rate of the videos directly in the Camera app.

Owners of HomePod you will notice some improvements: it is finally able to recognize the voice of different people, offering a personalized experience for each one. And you can transfer music and podcasts from your phone just by touching the speaker, thanks to Handoff.

THE Apple TV received no new features with tvOS 13.2, just “general performance and stability improvements”, according to the company.
