Apple Business Chat, an iOS alternative to WhatsApp Business, has been tested in Brazil since at least June. Now, more companies will be able to use the solution that allows them to interact with their customers through the Messages application.
Business Chat can be used to answer customers with questions and even to make sales, since it can be integrated with Apple Pay. For this, companies must choose one of the customer service platforms, that is, Apple partners to carry out the integration.
Among the brands that already use Business Chat in Brazil, are the ice cream shop Bacio di Latte and the car rental company Localiza Hertz. They use BLiP, a chatbot creation platform created by Take.
Users can use Business Chat by clicking on the message icon that may be displayed by companies on their website or app, or when searching for them on Maps, Safari or Siri. The solution is available for devices with iOS 11.3 and above.
As with WhatsApp Business, companies that use the service can have a verification stamp for users to be sure they are chatting with an official account. The complete list of Apple Business Chat partners is available on this link.
